Charlotte SHARE Support Group Meeting
SHARE - Supporting Herpes/HPV Awareness, Resources, and Education
Who?
Anyone who is living with HSV1, HSV2, or HPV is welcomed to attend the monthly support group meeting. Membership in Charlotte H is not required. The support group is co-hosted by Sensovi Institute and Charlotte H. Sensovi counselor Becky Knight will work with the Charlotte H moderators to facilitate the support group meeting.
When?
The support group meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM on the first and third Thursday of every month. However, check the Charlotte H calendar of events for any special changes.
First Thursday
SHARE "101" --- If you'd like to find out more about CharlotteH, Sensovi Institute or SHARE, join us on the first Thursday of every month. We'll have some introductory information, as well as some open discussion time. We'll also be joined by a professional counselor, Sue Anne Wrenn, who has a lot of experience in helping people cope with traumatic life events.
Third Thursday
SHARE "16 Steps" --- We'll be starting a new structured support group based on a program called "16 Steps of Discovery and Empowerment." It is a holistic, life-affirming and empowering approach to healing from life's painful challenges. At its core, this model is based on love not fear; internal control not external authoritarianism; affirmation not deflation; and trust in the ability of people to find their own healing path when given education, support, hope and choices.

The support group meeting will be held at the Sensovi counseling office.

How?
Sensovi is asking a reasonable prepaid fee of $10 per person to cover costs. You can pay by clicking the PayPal button below:
If you cannot afford the $10 fee, there is an introductory coupon for your first meeting that is available from Charlotte H. Email us to request a coupon.

FAQs
Is the information shared at the support group meeting confidential?
Yes, just like any counseling, the support group meetings will be
completely confidential. Individuals will be strongly encouraged not
to share the personal information of others.
Will there be pictures taken at the support group meeting?
No! We will strictly prohibit any picture taking at the support
group meetings. Even at social events, we will not post pictures
without your permission.
Do I have to pay the $10 before going to the meeting?
We encourage you to pay through PayPal before the meeting if at
all possible. However, we realize this isn't always possible.
Therefore, you can pay at the door if necessary.
What is the age range for support/social events?
Typically, most of the members are in their mid-thirties, but ages
range all over the place - from 18 to 65!
